20th Anniversary
Fly-In Sept. 23, 24, & 25, 2022 |
A Special Invitation
This year will be the 20th
anniversary of the Indiana Seaplane Pilots Association Annual
Splash In.
For attending seaplane pilots and crew, we
are planning a three day event this year starting with arrivals
on Friday and a Friday night barbecue, to be determined will be
pilot activities on Saturday with a banquet and reunion of
Pilots Saturday night at the Pottawattamie Inn.
Public Event
Sunday will be our day at the park that we
share seaplanes with the community as always.
We would like to hear from pilots who have
attended the event in the past but have not come for a while as
well as pilots that have been enjoying the event in the recent
years.
The Indiana Seaplane Pilots Association
Splash-In was founded as an advocacy demonstration for the
Indiana Department of Natural Resources and the recreational
boaters and the like in the state of Indiana to dispel all of
the common myths that seaplanes do not make good neighbors on
public freshwater lakes.
Clearly we have demonstrated this point as
well as created one of the most popular events in the State Park
system in the state of Indiana. Seaplane flying in Indiana
is alive and well and growing a big part of that is because of
the fabulous effort that has been made by all the pilots who
come to the Indiana splash in and create education and goodwill
plus share their airplanes with the public.
Join us for the fun!

The Indiana Seaplane Pilots Association is dedicated to
protecting the water flying rights of all seaplane pilots by minimizing
restrictions and opening new waters, educating the public about seaplanes, their
safety and utility, promoting the safe and neighborly use of seaplanes, and
improving the safety of seaplanes across Indiana.
The INSPA also holds events and performs advocacy on behalf of
seaplane pilots in the state of Indiana.
One popular favorite event is the annual
Pokagan State Park Indiana Seaplane Fly-In, held
every year in September.
