- Indiana Advocacy Update
(From Seaplane Pilots Association HQ)

Randy Strebig
In the last month information on 23 lakes in Indiana have been
updated in the SPA Water Landing Directory, and through a continuous
22-year effort Randy Strebig, SPA's tireless Indiana Field Director,
maintained seaplane access to four reservoirs and opened up an
additional 18 lakes. He currently has four more in the process of
being opened and we have another half-dozen slated for additional
efforts.
Randy's formula of goodwill, education and public outreach to
complement advocacy with the state's government and waterway
managers is a template for our national corp of Field Directors to
use in their regions.
You can read more about Randy's advocacy efforts in the July/August
issue of Water Flying magazine that you will soon receive in your
mailbox and online.
