Indiana DNR to Hold Hearings on Public Seaplane Bases

The Indiana state Department of Natural Resources has announced a pair of public meetings to gather public comments on five new Public Seaplane Bases on lakes in northern Indiana.  (Click here for a copy of the DNR press release.)

The meetings are in part the result of many years of work by the Indiana Seaplane Pilots Association, in conjunction with the Seaplane Pilots Association and other organizations to open Indiana lakes to seaplanes.  All five lakes currently have private seaplane bases established on them.  The proposal would change the status of these lakes to public seaplane bases.

We need YOUR support!  Read more below.
